Biodiversity Net Gain (BNG) is more than just a metric, it’s an opportunity to build better outcomes for nature. We work with projects to meet BNG requirements while designing habitats that actually work for wildlife.

We carry out baseline habitat surveys using the UKHab system, complete the BNG metric, and provide honest advice on what’s achievable on-site. Where needed, we help design off-site solutions that make ecological sense, not just mathematical ones.

Our focus is always on habitat quality, connectivity, and long-term success, whether it’s restoring species-rich grassland, enhancing river corridors, or creating ponds and scrub mosaics. We can also advise on monitoring and management to ensure habitats deliver real gains over time.
